Design of the Week – “Caelestis”

Caelestis

If you ever want a physical representation of a world of infinite possibilities, look into the night sky. It is filled with mysteries and phenomenon that can be merely recreated here on Earth. Endless events fill the night sky, some are seen but many go unseen to us.

Over the weekend, the planet Jupiter was the closest it will be to Earth in its rotation around the Sun. And so me and friend of mine, with his telescope in hand, ventured out towards an empty field to glance up at this planet. It was remarkable to view a planet that seemed so close and yet it was millions of miles away from us. Some of Jupiter’s largest moons were also visible that evening as well.

It was so beautiful to see that I could not help but be inspired to bring what I saw to (digital) life.

Enjoy!
